Steve Jobs once said in an interview that "the only problem with Microsoft is, they just have no taste." That may be true. But the only problem with Apple is that it has no gratitude. Or humility. Or generosity. Or manners. In the past few months, the company seems to have crossed some kind of invisible line, now brazenly pissing off not just competitors, but its most devoted fans, closest partners and industry supporters. Once-loyal and worshipful Apple fans are now calling for boycotts and class-action lawsuits. Is Apple blind to its own arrogance in the same way that Microsoft is blind to its lack of "taste"?
